Blake Vance was born and raised in the heart of Houston, Texas — otherwise known as the “Energy Capital of the World” — where he still resides today. He has built his entire career around the energy and petrochemical industry, beginning as an analyst focused on long-term consulting projects before transitioning into commercial leadership roles.
Today, Blake leads the Polymer Intelligence division at Tricon Energy, one of the world’s leading chemical trading and distribution companies.
His experience spans the full value chain — from feedstocks to finished goods — as well as the economic and geopolitical forces that shape market dynamics. He brings a commercially grounded perspective on market volatility, supply chain shifts, and the outlook for polymers in an increasingly uncertain global environment.
