The Adept F4 Plug Inserter has been designed, tooled, moulded and assembled at Adept’s Auckland manufacturing operation. It is built and distributed worldwide to enable the rapid, hygienic placement of Adept’s patented soluble plug in the colon of Lambs following slaughter to eliminate faecal contamination of the carcass. Physical requirements have required the development of six optimised plastic materials and processes to achieve the plant proven solution.
