PRNZ launches new facility
On March the 5th, Aliaxis and WM New Zealand launched the PRNZ North Island Recycling Plant in Auckland.
This is the only large-scale uPVC reprocessing facility in New Zealand, and the largest facility dedicated to recycling uPVC and HDPE pipe. This facility can also process other HDPE materials, and PP. With a shredder capable of shredding up to 1200mm there are few limits on this facility can process.
This facility represents over 3 years of work between WM New Zealand and Aliaxis and supported by a grant from the Ministry for Environment.
It is an amazing achievement and shows our industry’s commitment to recycling.
