Plastics New Zealand Annual General Meeting

You are warmly invited to attend the Plastics New Zealand Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held online at 12:15pm on Thursday, 18 June 2026.

 

This event is open to both members and non-members of the industry. Please note that non-members will be charged $70 + GST to attend.

The AGM will be a concise 15-minute session, followed by a 60-minute presentation from our guest speaker, Heath Fisher.

  • Presentation of AGM business and updates
  • Elections for the National Executive (Plastics NZ Board), including:
  • National President (Chair)
  • Vice President (Deputy Chair)
  • Six Elected Executive Officers
  • Opportunity to engage with leadership and fellow members

The Board plays a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of Plastics New Zealand, ensuring representation across the plastics value chain, sector groups, and regional branches.

Special Guest Speaker – Heath Fisher

We are pleased to welcome back Heath Fisher, a highly regarded speaker from the Plastics New Zealand 2025 Conference.

Heath is a former New Zealand diplomat, senior government advisor, and crisis response leader who now supports businesses navigating an increasingly complex global landscape. Having advised Prime Ministers and led New Zealand’s responses to international security challenges, Heath brings a unique and practical perspective on how geopolitical shifts are reshaping global markets.

In this session, Heath will share insights into:

  • The evolving global geopolitical environment
  • Risks and opportunities for New Zealand businesses
  • How organisations can build resilience in uncertain times
