Health & Safety: 

All participants agree to abide by the rules of Hampton Downs Go Karting: 

Safety

  • Single kart drivers must be at least 10 years old and at least 140cm tall
  • Tandem kart drivers must be at least 16 years old and at least 140cm tall
  • Tandem kart passengers must be at least 6 years old and at least 120cm tall
  • Maximum weight: 120kg (single)
  • Maximum height: 2m
  • Drivers aged 12 years and under will be speed restricted
  • Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your booking
  • We have zero tolerance to alcohol on all self drive activities
  • A 10 minute Health & Safety break is required between each race

What to Wear

  • No loose items or clothing
  • Closed footwear (no crocs)
  • You may bring your own full face NZ safety accredited helmet, if you prefer
  • Wear suitable clothing for karts. Crop tops, asymmetrical tops, short shorts, speedos, tutus, and super hero capes are not suitable for karting.
  • Check with our team upon arrival if you're unsure about your attire

Cancellation Policy:

Hampton Downs are unable to run if wet due to health & safety issues. If it is only drizzle the event will go ahead.
Notification of cancellation will occur the morning of the event (at the latest) and will be rebooked for a later date.
In the event of your withdrawal from the event within 7 days, Plastics New Zealand will be unable to issue refunds. You may choose to substitute attendees.
