Without formal waste management, plastics can be a problem.

Luckily, individuals can make a difference! Ally Hopwood, Sustainability Manager at Pharmapac Ltd and Chair of the Plastics NZ Environment Committee, is demonstrating this firsthand.

Ally is travelling to India this month to volunteer on the ground to support community-driven plastic waste clean-ups through Plastics for Change, an organisation that works directly with waste-pickers and local communities to safely collect, recycle, and reduce waste entering waterways and the ocean.
