Alchemy are innovative distributors of specialty chemicals in AU, NZ and the Pacific Islands’. We are the NZ and Pacific Islands’ distributor of Covestro (previously Bayer Material Science) plastics, polymers, polyurethanes, coatings and adhesives.
These products include the polycarbonate brands - Makrolon, Makroblend, Bayblend and Apec. Alchemy also supports the TPU brands Texin, Desmopan, and Platilon films. Alchemy also has partnership with material suppliers Albis and Geba, and pigments from Lanxess.

Ampacet operates 24 manufacturing sites in 17 countries: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, India, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, the U.K. and the U.S. We also have four research and development centers - two in the Americas, one in Europe and another in Asia. We sell our products in more than 90 countries.
Founded in 1937, Ampacet is a privately held company that employs over 2000 people. Our products include black, white and colour masterbatches, as well as a full range of additives from antistats, antiblocks and antioxidants to flame retardants, optical brighteners, process aids and UV inhibitors.
Much of Ampacet's success rests on its ability to partner with our suppliers and customers to create masterbatch formulations that help bring products to market quickly. We also offer in-depth technical, analytical and colour matching support, as well as trouble shooting services and in-house prototyping, using our own equipment.

Avient New Zealand is a multi-national affiliated company of a leading global specialty chemicals group and offers the broadest range of high performance masterbatches for plastics. These are manufactured at our production facility in Albany. We also offer a wide selection of commodity and engineering polymers from some of the world’s leading polymer producers.
