Diploma in Design & Specification of Plastics


Background:

This course was developed specifically to meet the needs of the Plastics Industry. In 2004 Plastics New Zealand in conjunction with The University of Auckland, held a series of work shops to devise the format and content . Currently the Diploma is delivered in Auckland by presenters who are experts in their field.


Diploma Course Structure & Registration Forms

Please note that for 2013 courses are being run in Auckland Only. These courses are run in 2 Semesters. Semester 1 February - June. Semester 2 September to November.


To be awarded a Diploma in Design & Specification of Plastics an individual needs to complete three of the above parts - one of which must include "Important Aspects of Plastics Design" (A certificate is awarded for each completed Part).

Who should attend? Anyone is able to attend but the courses are primarly aimed at employees of manufacturing and supply companies (raw materials design, tooling , machinery or that make use of plastic components in a range of end use applications. Participants will come from such diverse functions as sales, marketing, etc...

The Diploma is Awarded by Plastics New Zealand. Currently the diploma is not registered on the NZQA framework and cannot not be done extramurally.
