Plastics New Zealand is governed by an elected National Executive composed of sixteen members: the President; Vice President; Immediate Past President, a Supply House Representative, four Branch Presidents, four other elected Members and the four Committee Chairs representing the Environmental Committee, Industrial Relations Committee, the Plastics Centre of Excellence Advisory Committee and Plastics and Materials Processing Industry Training Organisation .
Plastics New Zealand National office is currently served by a full time Chief Executive Officer and part- time by a Membership Services Manager, a Best Practice Programme Facilitator and an Office Administrator.
Each Branch is run by a Committee of elected Members who meet regularly to discuss social, technical & educational events for their area. There are 4 Branches:
The Plastics New Zealand resource base is further strengthened through its association with other national and international professional and industry bodies, such as the New Zealand Packaging Council, PACIA in Australia, BPF in the UK and SPE in America. Plastics New Zealand also works closely with Regional Employers and Manufacturers Associations (EMA).
