Aquaculture Industry 2010

Plastics New Zealand has been working with New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE) and the Aquaculture Industry to take advantage of future developments in the Industry. A series of seminars, field visits, attendance at conferences, and meetings have been held. Further work is continuing so that future needs of the Industry, both fin fish and mussels, are identified and where possible a plastics solution offered. It is expected that the Industry will benefit from the Primary Growth Partnership as Government is taking a serious interest in this sector of the economy
